Frank Gehry's New Building in Chelsea, NY

日本ではフィッシュ・ダンス（日本・神戸市）で知られるフランク・ゲーリー（Frank Gehry）。
ニューヨークのチェルシー、僕の仕事場の向かい側に今彼がデザインする新しい建物が建とうとしています。
外観はほぼできつつありますが、曲がった壁に手作業で巨大なガラス壁をはめ込んで行くので、失敗してガムテープで張ってあったり、ベニヤで塞いであるのがなんとも情けない...
それでもなお毎日その日の光を受けて違う顔を見せて驚かせてくれる。

Inter-Active Corp. Headquarters designed by Frank Gehry is now finishing-up the outer walls of glass panels. Since each gigantic panel is installed by hands, there are few errors that are patched up with duck-tapes and plywood-panels. Still it surprises me by showing different appearance with reflecting color of the sky and the sunset each day.
